Dear Crafter,

Here we are again ready to begin scheduling our shows for the upcoming season. This upcoming season brings more opportunities and success for all to see and share. Wyoming Angels will be sponsoring the 3rd annual handcrafted show this October/November entitled “A Prairie Winds Christmas”, and is now accepting applications. As owner, I possess 27 years of selling and crafting expertise. I continue to strive to succeed in making this a top show for all. We saw overall sales of $2200 and approximately 130 visitors this past year and expect even more for our 3rd season.

This show will be manned by Wyoming Angels staff members and does not require your presence, although you are welcomed to attend or participate on any day. This is a nice way to add an extra show to your list. It will be advertised in the newspapers, radio, TV as well as through the Wyoming Angels website, local merchants, schools and crafters. We heard many positive comments about last year’s show and also listened and asked questions of our customers. This led us to consider an upgrade in signage; for more visibility as well as some additional postings. We also know recognize that the best advertising is word of mouth.

To apply for this show, simply read all the rules and regulations (found on the back), then complete the enclosed application. Submit it, along with photos and the $65 fee no later than June 30, 2008. Apply soon, space is limited! We are offering some additional services (see back) to make this experience a positive and successful event. We certainly hope to see you at our event and look forward to many fun years of great sales.

Rules & Regulations

Ø All work exhibited must be HANDCRAFTED and original work of the approved artist/crafter or unique products Made in Wyoming (food items should meet expected food standards of Wyoming –see http://wyagric.state.wy.us/chs/safety.htm or call 307.777.7321).

Ø All items that are being sold MUST be juried for1^st time submittals. Artist/Crafter will send with their contract and payment; with at least three (3) photos of their crafts. If your work can be shown accurately with less, three will not be necessary. A brochure for Made in Wyoming products is also acceptable.

Ø Any displays to be used should be shown in the photo or in an additional photo along with a brief explanation of how product is to be displayed.

Ø “A Prairie Winds Christmas” reserves the right to deny any artist/crafter or other vendor whose craft or product is not in the best interest of the show and all its participants. Any fees from a rejected application will be returned.

Ø There will be NO REFUNDS after you have been confirmed. A canceled check will constitute you being accepted for this year’s show. (Please be patient on the checks, I don’t cash things right away)

Ø All tags on products must contain your ID# (that will be issued), inventory number, and price.

Ø An inventory sheet needs to accompany all merchandise.

Ø A 3% fee will be assessed & collected on your credit card sales.

Ø All sales tax will be submitted by Wyoming Angels for the total show sales (not by individual).

Ø You are responsible for delivery and pickup of all items to the show.

Ø An itemized list of inventory, along with your payout, will occur approximately 10-12 days after the show to allow for checks to clear our bank and all credit card charges to be credited.

Ø By signing the application you are agreeing to all listed rules & regulations.

Additional Information

ü $65 fee includes all advertising costs, and mailings-we will even mail directly to your family, friends and customers; just provide a list of names & addresses. We’ll do the rest!

ü Flyers and postcards are available for you to use (indicate how many on application).

ü We are also collecting customer names for our mailing lists-You will have the option to receive a customized list of those who purchased your merchandise.

ü Tags (these are required) You will receive a master sheet, which we can customized with you name or business, phone number, or website for you to make multiple copies-your ID# will be preprinted.
