Shining Mountain Creations Located at the foot of the Bighorn Mountains, called the Shining Mountains by the Native Americans, Shining Mountain Creations, creator of award-winning “Dragon Fire” Hot Pepper Jelly, Cranberry-Walnut Jam, and Honey~n~Lemon Jelly, now includes web design as part of the business. Pete Peterson, who started Shining Mountain Creations while studying for a degree in business, enjoyed working with computers so much he started to study web design and digital imaging. Today Pete independently studies advanced applications in computers and design. We hope that you will enjoy viewing as much as Pete enjoys creating. Story Art Station The Story Art Station was once the old gas station in this small mountain village south of Sheridan. The local participating artists contribute their time, energy and talents to run and operate this artists' cooperative. The Art Station features an eclectic blend of local art, which has included everything from stained glass, log furniture, watercolor and oil paintings, hand woven textiles, wildlife photography, greeting cards, jewelry, real antler furnishings, wildflower art, yard art, pottery, sculpture, beadwork, soaps, candles and even Wyoming made jellies. Be sure to stop by frequently, as various guest artists will be featured each month. Our season runs from May to October. Summer hours will be 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.
